It's quite hard to move around and the speed power up makes me completely lose control over the spaceship, I always die because of it. Make a smoother movement and add some background scrolling and the game will be a lot more cool. ( here is a great tutorial I've used: youtu.be/nGw_UBJQPDY ). :)

Yeah I definitely need to take a look at that speed boost its more of a hazard than a power up, luckily it's a very simple fix. What do you mean by background scrolling - parrallaxing space scenes, planets and things?
Yep, parallaxing stars, it's fairly easy, give a quick look at the youtube link I've left on the comment above. And keep up the work, I'm curious to see your next games!
